A Lesson On Faith Over Fear

"I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear." ― Nelson Mandela

Fear is a natural emotion that everyone, including teenagers, experiences from time to time. Whether it's the fear of failure, the unknown, or the challenges life throws at us, it can be overwhelming. However, a Christian you have a powerful source of strength to turn to: our faith and the message of "do not fear" that resonates throughout the Bible.

Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. - Isaiah 41:10

Nelson Mandela was a man of faith and a very influential leader from South Africa. Being a Christian encouraged him to fight for racial justice. He wanted everyone to be treated equally and fairly, no matter the color of their skin. He spent many years in prison because he stood up for what he believed in. It happens to even the best of us…Life be life-ing! No doubt about it, life will take you on paths that will leave you feeling fearful and even terrified. When Nelson Mandela was finally free, he became the leader of his country and worked to make it a better place for everyone.

Isaiah 41 is a chapter from the Bible, and it has a wonderful message for you who are exploring your faith. In this chapter, God is speaking to His people (Good news: You are God’s People!), and He tells them not to be afraid. He says that He is always with them, like a loving friend who holds their hand and helps them when they need it.

God also tells them that He is strong and powerful, and He can help them overcome any challenges or fears they may have. He encourages them to trust in Him and to pray to Him whenever they feel scared or worried. Regardless of life’s circumstances Nelson Mandela trusted God to bring him through his worse years- even in prison.

So, for you, the message of Isaiah 41 is that you should never be afraid because God is always there for you, ready to help and protect you. You can talk to God through prayer, just like talking to a friend, and He will listen and take care of you. It's a message of comfort, love, and trust in God's presence in their lives.

Prayer: Father, I come to you on behalf of those who are reading the above message, I pray that you will encourage their hears, minds, soul and spirit. I pray that you will give them hope and wisdom and that the more they come to you they will grow with you each and every day in a personal relation. I pray that they will have the Spirit of Power, Love and a Sound Mind as it states in your word in 2 Timothy 1:7 for you did not give them a Spirit of Fear. I pray that every weapon of the enemy will be rendered powerless in their life. I touch and agree with them in Jesus name that they are more than a conqueror. AMEN!
