Understanding Grace
Grace is God’s gift of love, freely given to us. It’s the power to forgive, overcome, and live a new life in Christ. We are saved by grace through faith, and this incredible gift is not something we can earn—it’s God’s gift to all who believe. (Ephesians 2:8-9).
God Uses Everyone
Do you believe God can’t use you? Think again! Throughout history, God has used broken and flawed people to carry out His purposes. Just look at these examples:
Noah was a drunk (Genesis 9:21)
Jacob was a liar (Genesis 27:19)
Rahab was a prostitute (Joshua 2:1)
David was a murderer (2 Samuel 11:14-17)
Paul was too religious (Acts 9:1-19)
God doesn’t choose people based on perfection. He chooses them based on grace. No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, God can use you to do amazing things. (1 Corinthians 1:26-29).
God’s grace doesn’t just cover your past; it gives you the strength to keep moving forward. If you’ve made a mistake, don’t be discouraged. Ask God for the strength to live in the Spirit and overcome. His power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to be willing to let God work in your life.
Five months ago, I had a silent heart attack and kidney failure. I became unconscious and was on a ventilator for two days. God gradually healed me and I lived to tell my testimony on my birthday! Glory to God. Thank You, Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed Holy Spirit. Amen. - Miracle Healing, by Aleyamma Jacob
A beautiful rose grows among thorns. The rose bush is not very attractive, but its rose is beautiful. I grew up as a little rosebud among thorns. I had a most unusual childhood with a poignant touch of sorrow. It would shape my life into a vessel fit for God's service. I grew up with God's divine hand upon me, guiding me through distressing circumstances, and filling me with love and compassion for people. God blessed me with a wonderful education, which was quite rare at that time. I got the chance to attend a prestigious University for my Master's Degree in History. After a promising academic education, I flew across the seven seas to work as a Teacher in a foreign land for twenty-five years. I got the great privilege to spread the Gospel among students eager to hear God's Word. I subsequently returned to my home-land, and I continue to serve the Lord along with my husband, three children and their spouses. The greatest desire of my life is to spread the love of Jesus Christ. I have only one goal, one thought and one action - all towards Christ. He is everything to me - my life, my joy and my peace. All my thoughts revolve around Him. He is my Rock, my Refuge, my Fortress, My Deliverer and my Shield. I am marching forward in faith till I meet my Saviour face to face. O I am waiting for that precious day to come. "SANNY - GOD'S CHILD is inspired and published by God. He wrote the book, and I am His pen. It means that your sins have been forgiven and forgotten by God. You are no longer under judgment for your past mistakes. You now have the opportunity to begin again with a clean slate.
-
Yes! God’s grace is sufficient, and when we confess our sins, He forgives us without hesitation.

While God's grace is abundant and offered freely, there are instances in Scripture that suggest it is not to be taken for granted or assumed to last indefinitely under all circumstances. Grace is a gift that requires genuine repentance and faith, and while God's love is steadfast, the Bible does emphasize that there are consequences for continued disobedience and rejection of His truth.
1. Grace Requires Repentance
In Romans 6:1-2 (NIV), Paul writes: "What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?"
Here, Paul explains that grace is not a license to continue in sin. While God's grace covers our sins when we genuinely repent, habitual and unrepentant sin can separate us from the blessings of grace. Grace is not an excuse to live carelessly; it calls us to a higher standard of living in obedience to God.
2. Rejecting Grace
Hebrews 10:26-27 (NIV) warns: "If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God."
This passage illustrates the danger of continuously rejecting God's grace. If a person knowingly continues in sin, despite understanding God's truth, they risk falling away from grace, facing judgment instead.
3. Grace and Accountability
In the parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25:1-13 (NIV), five wise virgins were prepared for the bridegroom’s arrival, while five foolish ones were not, leading them to be shut out from the wedding banquet: "Later the others also came. 'Lord, Lord,' they said, 'open the door for us!' But he replied, 'Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.' Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour."
This parable teaches us that grace, while available, must be embraced with vigilance and preparedness. There is a time when the door of grace will close, just as it did for the unprepared virgins.
4. Blasphemy Against the Holy Spirit
Jesus Himself warns about a limit to grace in Matthew 12:31-32 (NIV): "And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come."
This passage indicates a severe rejection of God’s Spirit—blasphemy against the Holy Spirit—where grace is no longer extended. This is a rare but important reminder that grace cannot be trampled on through outright rejection of the work of the Spirit.

By staying close to God through prayer, reading His Word, and surrounding yourself with others who are pursuing the same goal.

False. Though we are made new in Christ, we still stumble. God’s grace empowers us to keep growing despite our imperfections.
